Sometimes, the world ends, and yet, somehow, you must go on.

This was written for the LUDUM PRAXI, a 72-hr TTRPG Jam held in August 2025 on the theme of "the end is never the end".

I've poured everything I know on how to claw yourself out of a pit of despair in those fifteen pages.
They've got compassion, numbered lists, and gratuitous swear words.
I hope you will find them at least entertaining, and at best helpful.

If you've enjoyed the game, easy and free ways to encourage me are leaving comments and ratings (which also helps with visibility).
Another way is supporting me financially on my LiberaPay.
Thank you!

Hello, Ether. I have a hobby TTRPG stream and the other day I was shilling the TTRPG for Trans Rights - Idaho bundle. This was simply beautiful, and I was reading a few passages from it. When I originally streamed, I admit I was inspired to rage against capitalism, ai, and having to choose between my morals and "making money allows me to support Trans Rights groups."
I edited the presentation for YouTube, which will be available here and wanted to let you know. I hope I've respected your words properly.
Hi Wyvern! I saw your comment and got really moved about it, and so it took me a while of letting it percolate before I could bring myself to watch the video (and then another while of fighting through YouTube age requirements thingies as the video has been marked age-inappropriate, but I still wanted to hear someone read my own words back at me!).
I would be very curious to watch the whole stream if it's available somewhere, but I mostly want to thank you for reading my words and "playing" my "game" and letting me know about it. It means a lot to me. It really does. I am very grateful for your effort.
And thank you for dedicating your time and energy to support trans rights and to show off marginalized creators in the TTRPG space!
The full stream can be found on YouTube here. It's a bit of a mood whiplash since I go from "Oh, I just got back from this convention and look at the things I took pictures of" to "Idaho wants my daughter dead" around the half hour point. :D
I love this! The writing style is brilliant at keeping things light and manageable at a moment when shit sucks without making light of that situation. I'm pretty sure I'll return to this later. Thank you for making it!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad if it proves useful to you.
I really liked this because so much advice out there tells us that we have the ability to just seize control and make ourselves emotionally react or physically act in a particular way, when in my experience this just leads to stress and guilt. I cannot remember the last time I have seen someone strike such a good balance between acknowledging that we only have so much agency over ourselves, while still pointing out that there is some agency available for us to claim in a positive way.
Thank you so much! I'm glad the work resonated for you. It IS very important for me to acknowledge both sides of that coin and so I'm very glad that I seem to have succeeded.
SHIT SUCKS... but this was wonderful.
This was incredibly well written and definitely captured what a lot of us are feeling at the minute. Times are tough and the pressure to just keep going regardless is bearing down on everyone. This game is a great motivational piece to help us regroup and get back up.
Funny, informative and thoughtful. Amazing job
Well done!
Thank you kindly! I appreciate that you rated in the jam, commented in the jam, AND commented here AND rated the game overall!
