My entry for the GB Pixel Art Jam 2025.

Made with Aseprite in three to four hours.

I love 1-bit, but I don't like pure black and white at all. I find it too harsh on the eyes. I understand it has to be that way to be implemented on the GB cartridge easily.

I also really struggled with the tile count, this time. At first, there was a whole stem with more leaves and such, but eventually I had to choose between the dithering on the pot and the higher part of the plant. I chose to keep the dithering.

I've included a couple of screenshots in alternative colours, just for fun. The downloadable file is at the right size and in pure black and white.

Last year, I made a serene walk in the forest and wished we could all find peace. I can only renew my wish today.
