First Sunrise
Every year, you go up the hill to watch the first sunrise. Every year is the same, so why would this year be any different?
Made for the Bitsy Game Jam #87, "Ritual 2". This is my very first completed game. I'm very proud of myself for completing it, and I hope you will enjoy it.
If you like the game, please leave a comment and/or rate the game! This will not only make my entire day, but also make the game more visible and easy to find for other players.
How to play
Go through the sparkly "points of interest" to advance the narration. There is a small choice at the end, which unlocks either of the game's two endings. Neither ending is "bad" or "good", and you can replay the game as much as you'd like.
Controls
Use the directional arrows to move and interact with points of interests, items, and NPCs.
Use the ENTER key to progress through dialogues.
Credits
Made with Bitsy by Adam Le Doux, with a little help from the bitsy-audio hack.
Pixel art, scripting, narrative: Ether, with precious, precious help from Tootkin! Thank you again!

Great job on your first game, and happy new year! This made me want to have my own new year ritual as well–climbing a mountain sounds really nice.
Thank you very much! I recommend it! You can start with a nice forest hill near you too!
Congratz on your first game! It's pretty well made and the pixel art is really clean!
Thank you kindly!
Great job on your first game! Loved the art for the trees!
